Yes. Unlike sand casting, die-cast aluminum is excellent for powder coating, anodizing (depending on the alloy), and bead blasting. Because the parts have a lower surface roughness, they require significantly less polishing.
To avoid porosity and shrinkage, we recommend a wall thickness between 1.5mm and 4.5mm. However, our engineering team can design ribs and bosses to maintain structural integrity while keeping sections thin.
